Job summary

BNY Mellon in Singapore is seeking a Senior Vice President, AI Governance & Controls to lead regulatory engagement and risk management across APAC. You will drive governance and control frameworks, collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate evolving rules into practical guidance.

You will work with regulators such as MAS and HKMA, represent the firm in industry groups, and shape governance practices across the APAC region.

Qualifications

Governance, controls, and regulatory-focused initiatives experience in banking/tech.
Experience engaging with financial regulators or in industry bodies on AI/data governance topics.
Understanding of AI governance frameworks and risk management in software/development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

Lead regulatory engagement on AI and data governance across APAC.
Represent BNY in industry groups and standard-setting bodies for AI governance.
Translate regulatory developments into actionable guidance and controls for technology teams.
Advise product owners, engineering leads, and senior stakeholders on risks and safeguards for APAC markets.
Embed the AI Governance framework into day-to-day development and delivery workflows within the First Line of Defense.
Collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, data management, and technology teams across APAC.
