Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a VP-level Control Manager in the APAC Chief Analytics Office to strengthen AI governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance through robust controls across data and analytics environments.

Responsibilities include aligning AI/ML controls with standards, coordinating risk assessments, and partnering with Legal, Model Risk, and Audit to ensure a compliant control environment across APAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data and Information Architecture, or a related field
• At least 8 years experience with AI/ML risk management practices, including Generative AI and AI/ML lifecycle controls
• Experience in financial services controls, information security, audit, QA, risk management, or compliance; knowledge of the three lines of defence
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to synthesize complex information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain business risks and controls clearly
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and operate with senior oversight

Responsibilities

• Ensure AI/ML risk controls are reflected in CAO APAC CORE content and maintain knowledge of CORE platform expectations
• Partner with APAC CAO/CDAO stakeholders to understand AI/ML processes, strengthen risk identification, and support control testing
• Support risk and regulatory assessments and coordinate inputs across Business and Control partners
• Develop and maintain control management framework documentation for AI/ML activities
• Contribute to APAC control manager communities to drive consistency on standards, practices, and controls
• Review metrics to identify risks and trends; collaborate to improve metric design and data collection
• Support control management priorities for regulatory queries, exams, and meetings; coordinate responses with stakeholders
• Collaborate with Legal, Model Risk, Compliance, Operational Risk, and Audit to ensure a well-managed control environment
