Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President, AI Governance & Controls in Singapore. You will lead APAC-regulatory engagement on AI and data governance, representing BNY in industry bodies and translating regulatory changes into actionable controls for product and engineering teams.

You will serve as the regional SME on AI governance, advising product owners and engineers on risks, safeguards, and regulatory implications, while embedding governance across APAC operations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering governance or regulatory-focused initiatives in financial services or tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory engagement on AI and data governance across APAC with regulators (MAS, HKMA).
• Represent BNY in industry groups and contribute to AI governance frameworks.
• Translate regulatory developments into actionable guidance for product and engineering teams.
• Act as regional SME on AI governance, advising stakeholders on risks and safeguards.
• Embed governance frameworks into day-to-day development and delivery workflows.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, data management, and technology teams across APAC.
