Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training/certification in AI/ML governance, and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience governing AI/ML and generative AI in financial services or a highly regulated environment.
• Ability to partner with senior stakeholders across risk, legal, compliance, controls, business, and technology teams.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; translate complex requirements into practical processes and controls.
• Proven ability to influence across teams and drive adoption without direct authority.
• Attention to detail; manage multiple initiatives and changing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison with the Firmwide CAO to coordinate region-specific responses to audit, regulatory and client inquiries.
• Lead the CIB AI governance operating model, guiding teams through implementation and oversight for consistent adoption.
• Partner with data science, architecture, engineering and data stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable plans.
• Maintain and improve AI/ML governance documentation, including procedures, charters and operating models.
• Collaborate with controls management to identify, document, and monitor AI/ML risks, issues and actions.
• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for governance tooling and process standardization.
• Facilitate sessions and forums to drive alignment and best practices across lines of business.
