Job summary

Royal Ocean Marine seeks an experienced shipping professional to supervise voyage and time charter operations. You will liaise with owners and charterers to ensure smooth voyage execution, draft charter parties, and manage demurrage claims.

The role requires hands-on planning, strong documentation discipline, and the ability to negotiate effectively with multiple stakeholders across vessels and routes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or a related field.
• Typically 3–5 years of experience in vessel operations or a related role in the shipping industry.
• Hands-on experience with voyage planning, stowage planning, and bunker management.
• Experience in handling claims (e.g., demurrage, deviation) is often required.
• Precision in documentation and laytime calculations.
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Plan and monitor the vessel's route for optimal time and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with charterers, agents, and other stakeholders for smooth operations.
