As a UX Designer/Researcher/Consultant at SANDP1T, you will work on projects that impact the lives of many. From Enterprise Login and Payment Gateways to Training and Learning Management Systems, over 1,000,000 users will be using your systems. We are looking for people with passion to grow and learn with us. You will actively contribute to the SANDP1T community by providing feedback and sharing knowledge that benefits others, while fostering a supportive environment for budding UX & UI practitioners. Your familiarity with providing design advice, guidelines, and recommendations, coupled with your ability to drive the organization toward success, ensures the creation of delightful user experiences (UX) in digital products for clients. You will apply design thinking to solve problems from start to finish, including identifying user needs, generating concepts, defining and creating products, and shaping how people interact with them. You will also be responsible for improving overall product functionality through user testing to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will also be involved in strong stakeholder management, navigating diverse client, partner, and internal stakeholders, aligning perspectives, managing expectations, and guiding decision-making to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

You will be
  • Cross-collaborating with Service Delivery Lead, Business Analyst, Developers, on concept development and design ideation to deliver user‑centric digital product for clients
  • Working with the Developer team to identify, conceptualise and solve problems to enhance the overall user experience and maximise business impact
  • Supporting the Business Development team by working on pitches and generating suggestions for prospective work
  • Managing and engaging multiple stakeholders (clients, partners, internal teams) by clarifying goals, resolving misalignments, communicating trade‑offs, and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle
  • Demonstrating high‑quality design practices including all aspects of UI and UX: research, analysis, ideation, testing, interaction design and visual design
  • Fostering a collaborative and positive environment within the team while sharing knowledge and providing feedback on internal practices for continuous improvement and excellence. This may involve suggesting new ideas or approaches, or providing constructive feedback on current processes.
  • Conceptualising designs with well‑grounded UI‑UX theories and practical knowledge
  • Driving the UX, business and technical conversations with the team and clients, including managing stakeholder expectations, aligning priorities, and facilitating informed decision‑making across different levels of the organisation
  • Staying abreast with new technologies, industry trends and promoting a culture of learning and innovation
  • Driving ideas from start to finish and advocating for best practices through design architecture and live implementation
  • Facilitate Design Thinking workshops with clients to align project vision and strategy for an end‑to‑end design process.

You have
  • Confidence in your experience in creating delightful UX and UI design (both visual and interaction design) or production in the digital space for a user base of thousands to millions
  • Confidence in your experience to leverage teamwork to achieve more
  • Confidence in building client relationships, managing stakeholders, and fostering effective collaboration across business, design, and technical teams
  • Strong knowledge of web and mobile app UX/UI, and experience in designing products across Web, Android and iOS platforms
  • Familiarity with UI prototyping tools i.e., Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
  • A deep understanding of the fundamentals of user‑centricity
  • Passion about creating experiences that fuse non‑digital and digital through research, analytics, design and delivery
  • Strong aesthetic aptitude and ability to articulate, rationalise and document design directions
  • Ability to adopt a forward‑thinking mindset to create new ideas and applications
  • Excellence interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with cross‑disciplinary teams and client management would be advantageous
  • Excellence communication skills in English
Preferred qualifications
  • Good to have but not required: Diploma / Degree in design / communication / advertising / journalism / media / psychology or equivalent
  • Strong portfolio including user research, personas, discovery workshops, sketches, wireframes, digital designs for native apps and web
  • Strong portfolio must also showcase strength in designing digital product experiences
  • Experience producing UX prototypes
  • Having experience in discovery workshops would be advantageous
  • Experience using design tools such as Figma, Figjam
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Confident in your experience to leverage teamwork to achieve more
  • You will be required to travel onsite for meetings

  3. If you pass the challenge, you will be invited for the interview where you will present your portfolio and design challenge. This session will allow us to discuss your experience and knowledge in the field.
  4. Based on the interview results, we will determine if further interviews are needed. If you are selected, our HR team will reach out to you with an offer and next steps.
