Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Sales Engineer/Executive to identify potential customers, plan and conduct cold calls or follow-up leads, and service existing clients. You will coordinate with suppliers and the Singapore sales team to meet sales goals, prepare cost estimates, and support installation and demonstrations of engineering equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential customers and plan sales calls via cold calls or provided leads.
• Maintain and service existing customers; address sales and engineering support goals and contribute to weekly, monthly and annual sales reports.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations; provide application support; demonstrate or install equipment per orders and customer preferences.
• Communicate with principals (suppliers) and the Singapore sales team to achieve sales targets.
• Prepare cost estimates by studying customer documents and consulting with engineers and personnel.
• Analyze cost-benefit ratios and propose improvements in equipment, processes or materials.
• Explain cost reductions and operations improvements to gain customer acceptance and provide training.

Job description

Sales Region: 50% Singapore and 50% Asean (Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines)

• New customers creation. To identifying potential customers with planning andorganizing sales call schedule by cold calls or given sales leads.
• Candidate is also required to maintain and servicing of existing customers. Address sales and engineering support goals, contributing to weekly, monthly and annual salesreport, analysing expenses, identifying inconsistencies and troubleshooting issues.

• Prepare and making of product presentation, provide product application support,demonstrate or performing of Installation on the appropriate sales engineering equipment according to orders, specificities and preferences.

• Communicate with Principals (Suppliers) and Singapore Sales team together to drive for achieving sales goal.
• Prepare cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers and other professional personnel.

• Determines improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
• Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements. Develops customer’s staff by providing technical information and training.

• Complies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and anticipating future legislation.
• Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.

• Identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.

Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electricial or Aeronautical Engineering (a must)
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in Electronics or Engineering field with a keen interest to venture into sales or account servicing role
