Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Contract Manager for a project-based assignment in Singapore, located at Changi (Lavender area).

The role involves coordinating tender activities, preparing contract documents, and managing commercial matters with clients and subcontractors. Candidates should have at least 5 years of civil works experience and be proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Primavera and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Candidates with QS or Contracts background is advantageous.
• At least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post
• Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with MD in responding to RFQ from local and overseas clients.
• Coordinate pre-tender documentation and respond to tender clarifications; attend meetings that lead to tender award.
• Prepare contract documents and review commercial aspects with clients & sub-contractors.
• Assist PMs in preparing monthly progress payments and ensure successful claims.
• Attend site meetings with project staff as required.
• Assist in variation orders and maintain records of changes.
• Liaise with main contractor and client QS on claims and finalization of accounts.
• Prepare budgets and cash flow projections with directors, PMs and financial controller.
• Assist in negotiating sub-contractor packages and prepare letters.
• Analyze scope of work for contract administration against drawings.
• Liaise with financial controller and PMs on cost control.
• Monitor project costs and maintain general financial administration.
• Report cost history for contract negotiation and budgeting.

Contract Manager

Work Location: Changi, office at (Lavender area)
Working days: 5 days 8am to 5pm, Alternate Saturday Full Day
Salary: $9000 to $12000 (depends on experience)

Requirements

• Candidates with QS or Contracts background is advantageous.

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post

• Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

• At Least 5 years of Experience in Civil Works.

Job scope

• Liaise and assist managing director in responding to request for quotation from prospective clients both local and overseas

• Manage and coordinate preparation of pre-tender documentation and response to tender clarifications and amendments involved and attends tender meetings leading to award of tenders.

• Prepare contract documents for control and implementation of contract administration and reviews commercial aspects of contract and agreement with clients & sub-contractors

• Assist the Project Managers in preparation of monthly progress payment and ensure successful claim of progress payment

• Attend site meetings with project staff as and when required

• Assist project managers in preparation of variation order and keep comprehensive record on work alteration and design amendment etc

• Liaise closely with main contractor and Client’s Q/S in regard to claims and negotiation of claims and finalization of account

• Prepare budgets and cash flow projection in conjunction with directors, project managers and financial controller

• Assist in negotiation of sub-contractors packages and preparation of sub-contractor or supplier agreement letters

• Analyse scope of work in project and contract for effective contract administration in conjunction with interpretation of architectural and shop drawings

• Liaise with financial controller and in conjunction with project managers control

• Monitor project cost and prepare general financial administration

• Report example cost history for contract negotiation and budget
