Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee tendering, contract administration, and financial aspects of civil projects in Singapore.

You will liaise with directors, clients, and subcontractors, manage documentation, and ensure timely progress payments and claims. Based in Changi with an office near Lavender, the role requires a diploma or degree, 5+ years in civil works, and proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post
• Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of Experience in Civil Works.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and assist managing director in responding to RFQ from clients local and overseas.
• Manage and coordinate preparation of pre-tender documentation and tender clarifications.
• Prepare contract documents for control and compliance with clients & sub-contractors.
• Assist Project Managers in monthly progress payment and ensure claims.
• Attend site meetings with project staff as required.
• Assist in preparation of variation orders and maintain change records.
• Liaise with main contractor and client QS on claims and finalization of accounts.
• Prepare budgets and cash flow projections with directors and financial controller.
• Assist in negotiation of sub-contractors packages and supplier agreements.
• Analyse scope of work for effective contract administration with drawings interpretation.
• Liaise with financial controller and project managers on cost control.
• Monitor project cost and prepare general financial administration.
• Report cost history for contract negotiation and budget.

Contract Manager

Work Location: Changi, office at (Lavender area)

Working days: 5.5 days 8am to 5pm, Alternate Saturday Full Day

Salary: $9000 to $12000 (depends on experience)

Requirements

• Candidates with QS or Contracts background is advantageous.

Job scope

• Liaise and assist managing director in responding to request for quotation from prospective clients both local and overseas

• Manage and coordinate preparation of pre-tender documentation and response to tender clarifications and amendments involved and attends tender meetings leading to award of tenders.

• Prepare contract documents for control and implementation of contract administration and reviews commercial aspects of contract and agreement with clients & sub-contractors

• Assist the Project Managers in preparation of monthly progress payment and ensure successful claim of progress payment

• Attend site meetings with project staff as and when required

• Assist project managers in preparation of variation order and keep comprehensive record on work alteration and design amendment etc

• Liaise closely with main contractor and Client’s Q/S in regard to claims and negotiation of claims and finalization of account

• Prepare budgets and cash flow projection in conjunction with directors, project managers and financial controller

• Assist in negotiation of sub-contractors packages and preparation of sub-contractor or supplier agreement letters

• Analyse scope of work in project and contract for effective contract administration in conjunction with interpretation of architectural and shop drawings

• Liaise with financial controller and in conjunction with project managers control

• Monitor project cost and prepare general financial administration
