THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. invites a Contract Manager to lead tendering, contract administration and project support for civil works from its Changi office.

This contract-based role involves coordinating RFQs from local and overseas clients and compiling pre-tender documentation for timely submissions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in civil projects, and is proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Primavera and AutoCAD, with strong negotiation and budgeting skills to ensure successful

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Civil Works.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera and AutoCAD.
• Experience with tenders and contract administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with managing director to respond to RFQ from local and overseas clients.
• Coordinate preparation of pre-tender documents and respond to clarifications.
• Prepare contract documents and oversee contract administration and commercial reviews.
• Assist Project Managers with monthly progress payments and claims.
• Attend site meetings with project staff as required.
• Assist in preparation of variation orders and maintain records of changes.
• Liaise with main contractor and client QS on claims and final accounts.
• Prepare budgets and cash-flow projections with directors and financial controller.
• Negotiate subcontractor packages and prepare supplier agreements.
• Analyse scope of work and drawings for contract administration.

Contract Manager

Work Location: Changi, office at (Lavender area)
Working days: 5 days 8am to 5pm, Alternate Saturday Full Day
Salary: $9000 to $12000 (depends on experience)

Requirements

• Candidates with QS or Contracts background is advantageous.

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post

• Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

• At Least 5 years of Experience in Civil Works.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera and AutoCAD
  

Job scope

• Liaise and assist managing director in responding to request for quotation from prospective clients both local and overseas

• Manage and coordinate preparation of pre-tender documentation and response to tender clarifications and amendments involved and attends tender meetings leading to award of tenders.

• Prepare contract documents for control and implementation of contract administration and reviews commercial aspects of contract and agreement with clients & sub-contractors

• Assist the Project Managers in preparation of monthly progress payment and ensure successful claim of progress payment

• Attend site meetings with project staff as and when required

• Assist project managers in preparation of variation order and keep comprehensive record on work alteration and design amendment etc

• Liaise closely with main contractor and Client’s Q/S in regard to claims and negotiation of claims and finalization of account

• Prepare budgets and cash flow projection in conjunction with directors, project managers and financial controller

• Assist in negotiation of sub-contractors packages and preparation of sub-contractor or supplier agreement letters

• Analyse scope of work in project and contract for effective contract administration in conjunction with interpretation of architectural and shop drawings

• Liaise with financial controller and in conjunction with project managers control

• Monitor project cost and prepare general financial administration

• Report example cost history for contract negotiation and budget
