Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking a Training Manager to consolidate training requirements across Commands and Groups, drive the DIS Continuous Learning Work Plan (DCLWP), and oversee training initiatives. You will liaise with Training Management Branch on course nominations, funding, and governance, monitor budgets, and prepare management updates.

Applicants with a business management background and training-management experience will be considered; strong communication and planning

Qualifications

• Education in Business Management or related field.
• Proficiency in communication and planning is required.
• Familiarity with Copilot and AI productivity tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate training requirements from Command and Groups for DCLWP.
• Handle ad-hoc training requests including course additions and budget matters.
• Coordinate with Command and Formation on courses and events.
• Liaise with Training Management Branch on nominations, funding, and policies.
• Monitor budget utilisation, commitments and expenditures for courses.
• Prepare reports and management updates on training and budget matters.
