Job summary

Chye Thiam Maintenance Pte Ltd is seeking a Training Designer with strong experience in developing WSQ-based materials and coordinating on- the- job training systems. The role requires developing refresher materials and reviewing course content to ensure effectiveness.

You will work closely with department heads to identify training needs, brief trainers on deliverables, and support multiple locations across Singapore, including managing the LMS for enrolment and tracking.

Qualifications

• Diploma in HRM/Training or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in training design, development, and delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of vocational training; experience in a newly set-up environment.
• ACLP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the OJT system and assist in its blueprint development.
• Develop refresher materials based on WSQ training materials and Company Circulatory.
• Review WSQ course materials periodically to ensure effectiveness.
• Identify and communicate training needs with department heads.
• Brief and orientate trainers on WSQ deliverables before training.
• Follow up pre- and post-evaluations to measure training effectiveness.
• Recommend training activities including in-house and external sessions.
• Collaborate with vendors on e-Learning design and content development.
• Manage Learning Management System (LMS): enrolment, monitoring, tracking.
• Support trainers to conduct trainings across multiple locations in Singapore.

• Identify and recommend training needs of departments by continuous communication with department heads.
• Brief and orientate trainers on WSQ training course deliverables before they conduct any WSQ training
• Follow up on pre and post evaluation of training programs to ensure their effectiveness.
• Recommend and plan training activities including in-house and external training, workshop and courses.
• Work with vendor on the development of e-Learning design and content
• Management of Learning Management System (LMS) which includes enrolment, monitoring, and tracking
• Support trainers to conduct trainings for multiple locations in Singapore.

Requirements

• Diploma in Human Resource Management/Training or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in training design, development, delivery experience or related field preferred.
• Possess in-depth knowledge on vocational training and experience in a newly set-up environment
• ACLP certification is preferred.
