Job summary

Wärtsilä Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Tools Store Assistant to join our warehouse operations in Singapore. The role focuses on keeping stocks accurate, maintaining store conditions, and coordinating with incoming shipments and PPE inventories.

You will review inventories, process goods receipts, rotate stock (FIFO), manage vehicle-related admin, and uphold safety and security procedures. SAP familiarity and MS Office skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate and interact well with customers and other stakeholders.
• Literacy in Information Management Applications/ Tools such as MS Office.
• Strong organizational and effective communication skills.
• Previous experience and knowledge of SAP will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the store sufficiently stocked by reviewing inventories
• Maintaining conducive store conditions
• Receiving and verifying the quality and quantity of new shipments/inventories and Migo for Goods Receipt
• Inventory management for Coverall (PPE)
• Rotate stock and dispose of surplus and expired quantities (FIFO).
• Enforcing in-store security and health and safety procedures and regulations
• Issuance of Purchase Requisitions and Orders where needed.
• Administrative duties to manage company vehicle (2 units) / diesel purchase / Scrap metal sale.

We are looking for a Tools Store Assistant. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.

As a Tools Store Assistant, your responsibilities for the role include:
