The role focuses on transactional TMT/IP work across digital infrastructure, data, and IP matters, with opportunities to work regionally across Asia and the Middle East. The ideal candidate has strong transactional training and a common law background, with flexibility to collaborate across time zones and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic credentials.
• 0 to 2 years PQE (E&W scale). Common law qualification preferred (e.g., England & Wales, Singapore and Australia qualifications)
• Prior transactional and commercial contracts training or experience is a must.
• Digital infrastructure background is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial documentation.
• Provide clear and commercial legal advice to clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including supporting senior stakeholders in client development initiatives and identifying opportunities to expand existing mandates.
• Collaborate effectively at all levels, including proactively managing expectations and workflows with senior stakeholders, while also supervising, mentoring and providing guidance to more junior team members (including trainees).
• To succeed in this Associate (TMT/IP) role, you should be able to contribute to knowhow, communicate effectively when under pressure and be a proactive team player.
