Job summary

Qualifications

• 8 years PQE with Singapore qualification preferred.

• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex technology and commercial agreements.
• Exposure to data protection, privacy, cybersecurity or telecom regulatory matters is advantageous.

The role

We are seeking a Senior Associate – Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) to join the firm's TMT practice.

The successful candidate will advise local and international clients on a broad range of TMT and commercial matters, including technology transactions, IT and outsourcing arrangements, telecommunications, data protection, privacy, cybersecurity and emerging technology issues.

You will work closely with Partners and lawyers across the firm's international network, taking responsibility for complex matters, negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, providing commercially focused legal advice, and supporting the development of client relationships and the wider TMT practice.

The Requirements

• Singapore-qualified lawyer with approximately 8 years of PQE.
• Strong experience in TMT, technology transactions, IT/commercial contracts or related areas.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex technology and commercial agreements.
• Exposure to data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, telecommunications or technology-related regulatory matters will be advantageous.
• Strong legal drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical and solution-oriented legal advice.
• Ability to manage matters independently while working effectively with Partners, clients and international teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience advising multinational corporations, technology companies or other sophisticated commercial clients will be advantageous.
