Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a travel-focused professional to manage ticketing, reservations and itinerary planning for corporate clients and individuals. You will issue tickets and hotels, design itineraries, and handle quotations and invoicing with excellent client service.

Strong communication, teamwork and knowledge of Amadeus GDS are valued. 1+ year experience in travel sales is preferred, with participation in visa processes and travel insurance optional certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in corporate sales or travel agencies preferred.
• Knowledge of Amadeus (GDS) highly valued.
• Familiarity with IATA BSPLink is an advantage.
• Travel Insurance certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ticketing, hotel reservations, visa and travel advice.
• Issue tickets, hotels, tours, transfers via online/offline sources.
• Prepare and issue group tickets and quotations.
• Oversee Reservations Team and provide assistance when required.
• Prepare travel documents such as tickets and vouchers.
• Discuss travel requirements with clients via phone or email.
• Prepare, plan and quote travel itineraries.
• Make bookings and issue invoices.
• Handle travel insurance arrangements.
• Research destinations and keep up with travel industry news.
• Create promotional posters for social media pages.
• Handle inquiries and JR Pass sales.
• Connect with local travel agencies or BTM clients.

Job description

• Salary: up to $4,500 (Depending on experiences)

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for booking, issuing air tickets and correspondence for corporate clients and individual customers.

In addition, should also have Experience of designing Itineraries, costing, booking hotels etc. related travel business with good communication skills, professional skills.

• Provide ticketing, hotel reservations, VISA and travel advice
• Issuing tickets/hotels/tours/transfers via online/offline company sources.
• Handing the quotation, reservation & issuance of group tickets
• Oversee our Reservations Team and provide them with assistance when required
• Preparation of travel related documents e.g., Ticket, vouchers
• Liaising with clients, over the phone or via email to discuss their travel requirements, selling Domestic/Outbound Tour Packages. Understanding Client's Package Requirements.
• Prepare, plan and quote travel itineraries
• Making and confirming bookings, issuing invoice
• Handling travel insurance
• Researching destinations and keeping up to date with travel industry news
• Creative thinking new business except for travel business
• Create promotional posters of our products for our official Facebook & Instagram page
• Other ad-hoc tasks (Handling inquires & sales of JR Passes)
• Connections of local travel agency or BTM clients

Job Requirement

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience (experience in sales to corporate clients or travel agencies preferred).
• Knowledge and skills in Amadeus (GDS) are highly valued; familiarity with IATA Bsplink (refunds and related matters) is an advantage.
• JR Pass knowledge is optional (can be self-learned).
• Travel Insurance certification is preferred; if not available, successful candidate will be required to complete the course and obtain certification.
• Understanding of Japan outbound travel and Singapore inbound travel markets.
• Basic knowledge of visa processes (China, India, Myanmar, etc.).
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening ability.
• Excellent customer service mindset, with focus on quality and client satisfaction.
• Team player who can also manage multitasking independently.
• Experience working with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is preferred.
• Exceptional listening, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Positive attitude and willingness to actively embrace challenges.
