Job summary

Vinayak Scaffold & Services Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated school support professional to mentor primary students and support their social-emotional development in a Singapore school.

The role involves implementing restorative practices, tracking student progress, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and the Student Development Team to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a mainstream primary school.
• Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work or related field preferred.
• Certification in Restorative Practice / Building Relational Capacity under the Singapore WSQ framework preferred.
• Good communication, interpersonal and student-engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and targeted support for identified primary school students.
• Help students develop emotional regulation, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Facilitate restorative practices, relationship-building activities and conflict resolution sessions.
• Monitor student progress and maintain confidential records.
• Work closely with teachers, parents and the school's Student Development Team.
