Job summary

DYNAMIC SAFETY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Student Development Counselor to provide targeted intervention, mentoring, and support for identified students within a mainstream primary school.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work, or related fields preferred.
• Certified Practitioner in Restorative Practice /Building Relational Capacity under the Singapore WSQ framework preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a mainstream primary school, working directly with primary school students.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted intervention, mentoring, and support for identified students.
• Build positive relationships and promote students’ emotional well-being, resilience, and character development.
• Guide students in emotional regulation, conflict resolution, communication, and positive behaviour.
• Plan and facilitate restorative practices, including community-building circles, restorative conversations, and values-based activities.
• Support students in resolving interpersonal conflicts and relationship challenges.
• Strengthen partnerships between students, parents, and teachers.
• Monitor and document student progress, interventions, and follow-up actions.
• Provide feedback and updates to the Student Development Team while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student development.
• Perform other student management duties assigned by the school
