Job summary

VINAYAK ENGINEERING & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a part-time role to mentor primary school students, focusing on emotional regulation, communication, and conflict resolution. You will work alongside teachers and the Student Development Team to support student progress.

The position requires at least 1 year in a mainstream primary setting, with preferred qualifications in related fields and WSQ restorative practice certification. The contract runs during school terms with a defined schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a mainstream primary school.
• Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work or related field preferred.
• Certification in Restorative Practice / Building Relational Capacity under the Singapore WSQ framework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and targeted support for identified primary school students.
• Help students develop emotional regulation, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Facilitate restorative practices, relationship-building activities and conflict resolution sessions.
• Monitor student progress and maintain confidential records.
• Work closely with teachers, parents and the school's Student Development Team.
