Job summary

STRAITS CONSTRUCTION SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Diploma/Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management to support tendering activities. You will consolidate tender documents and drawings, study tender scope of works, perform Quantity Taking Off (QTO), and prepare full cost breakdowns within tight deadlines.

Review tender specifications and drawings, input quantities with cost codes, raise tender queries with the Singapore counterpart, and coordinate with project

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical capability.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced tender environment.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate tender documents and drawings to the latest versions.
• Study tender documents to understand the scope of works.
• Perform Quantity Taking Off (QTO) and prepare itemised cost breakdowns.
• Measure and input quantities to BQ with full cost code and descriptions within the timeline.
• Review tender specifications/drawings and capture amendments.
• Raise and consolidate tender queries with Singapore counterpart.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Consolidate tender documents and drawings to latest.
• Study tender documents and tender drawings to understand the tender scope of works.
• Quantity Taking Off (QTO) works approach and timeline.
• Measurement works based on documents and drawings provided; accordance to the Singapore Standard Method of Measurement, ability to pick up itemised for QTO, completeness of works within the specific timeline.
• Review tender specification & drawings, capture amendments
• Input quantities to BQ with complete cost code, full breakdown of works with complete description, within the timeline.
• Raise tender queries and/or Consolidate tender queries and send to Singapore counterpart.
• Communicate with project department related to tender scope of works. Involve in technical discussion.
• Complete deliverables accordance to the timeline as communicated by Singapore counterpart.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time related to tenders/projects.
