Job summary

TANGLIN CORPORATION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Tender) to support the tendering team in cost estimates, take-offs, and subcontractor quotations. The role focuses on accuracy in measurement and coordination with internal and external stakeholders in Singapore.

You will gain exposure to the full tendering cycle, with opportunities to grow technical and commercial knowledge within the tendering function.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Gebiz tender preparation experience.
• Degree or diploma in QS/related field required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Familiarity with measurement software (AutoCAD, CostX, Glodon, etc).
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and accurate in measurement and costing.
• Good communication and coordination with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and conditions of contract.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs for structural and architectural works.
• Prepare measurement sheets, cost breakdowns, and pricing schedules.
• Source, invite, and issue tender drawings and specifications for subcontractor and supplier to quote.
• Evaluate quotations received from subcontractor and supplier. Arrange meetings with them for discussion and coordination.
• Identify and highlight discrepancies in drawings and specifications, raise tender clarification and queries when required.
• Provide cost inputs and supporting data in line with tender submission requirements.
• Compile and prepare trade cost comparison sheets for management review.
• Assist in compiling all tender submissions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Maintain updated cost databases, quotation records, and supplier/subcontractor information.
• Support post-tender clarifications and provide documentation for project handover when tenders are awarded.
• Work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors/ contracts Manager to ensure alignment with company standards.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
