Job summary

PEOPLESEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our pre-contract team in Singapore.

You will prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for large-scale building projects, review drawings, and perform take-offs to support accurate pricing. Candidates should have a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Senior-level candidates may be considered for advanced roles within the team.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry.
• Senior position may be considered for more extensive experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for building projects.
• Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify project requirements and potential cost risks.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis to support accurate pricing.
• Source and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, and evaluate and compare quotations.
• Assist in the preparation of BOQ, tender clarifications, and value engineering proposals.

Join the pre-contract team at the headquarters of a prominent A1 main contractor, contributing to tenders for large-scale developments across Singapore.

What you will do

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for building projects
• Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify project requirements and potential cost risks.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis to support accurate pricing.
• Source and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, and evaluate and compare subcontractor quotations
• Assist in the preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ), tender clarifications, and value engineering proposals.

What you will need

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Possess minimum 2 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
• Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a Senior position.
