Job summary

FIELD ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Diploma/ Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering to support tendering and cost planning for civil and infrastructure projects in Singapore.

The role involves measuring quantities, preparing cost estimates, and handling tender submissions alongside project teams. You will review drawings, source quotations, prepare progress claims and final accounts, and ensure contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tender preparation, including quantity take-off, cost estimation, and compilation of tender submissions.
• Review drawings and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing tender clarifications and supporting documents.
• Carry out quantity take-off, measurement, and cost planning for ongoing projects.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and assist in payment certification.
• Conduct site measurements and verify work done.
• Maintain proper documentation of contracts, variations, and claims.
• Liaise with project team, consultants, and subcontractors on cost-related matters.
• Monitor project costs and highlight potential cost issues.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

• Minimum2 years of relevant working experience in Singapore, preferably in civil and infrastructure projects

• Basic experience intender preparation and quantity take-off.

• Familiar with local construction practices and authority requirements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.

• Good analytical and numerical skills.

• Able to work independently with guidance from senior staff.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
