Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd. in Singapore seeks a senior delivery lead to captain end-to-end programs across multiple streams, including System Analysts, Infrastructure, DevOps, and release management.

You will guide teams onsite with offshore collaboration and partner with architects to align business goals with technical designs. The role requires deep Java expertise, hands-on leadership, and a track record of delivering complex applications using microservices.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience delivering complex projects in banking or financial services.
• 5+ years leading large-scale projects and multiple delivery streams.
• Strong Java development background with coaching and delivery leadership.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record managing virtual onsite/offshore delivery teams.
• Experience with API integration and system integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery from pre-project planning to post-go-live support.
• Manage multiple delivery streams to achieve project outcomes.
• Plan, track, and manage budgets and resources.
• Vendor management including SOWs, budgets, invoices, and governance.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and architects to translate requirements into design.
• Oversee delivery using agile and traditional planning tools.
• Ensure quality, security, and standards compliance throughout delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance sprint velocity and quality.
• Champion change management and risk mitigation.
