Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on aerospace technician to repair and overhaul aero-engine components. You will follow SOPs, participate in EH&S programs, and report hazards, while contributing to risk assessments and audits.

Join our team to support continuous improvement and CORE activities, with on-the-job training and overtime as required, across rotating day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• O' Level or NITEC in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• 2 years relevant experience or willing to pursue aerospace industry.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and SOP.
• Hands-on with equipment, tools, and machines.
• On-the-job trainings and certifications provided.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude towards change management.
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul aero-engine components using benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, welding, and machining.
• Follow procedures to meet operational requirements and quality standards.
• Support EH&S programs and activities within the company.
• Report incidents or hazards to the supervisor.
• Perform risk assessment and take corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in audits and inspections as required.
• Attend EH&S training and ensure safety adherence.
• Support continuous improvement and CORE activities within the company.

What You Will Do

• Repair & overhaul of the aero-engine components by benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, welding, machining, or using other required mechanical skills.
• Follow procedures and guidelines to meet operational requirements and quality standards.
• Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.
• Report any incidents, hazardous conditions, and emergencies to the supervisor.
• Perform an assessment of risk of the activities and take corrective and preventive actions.
• To participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
• Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.
• Support the continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities within the company.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Min “O’ Level or NITEC in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• 2 years relevant experience or no experience who are keen to pursue aerospace industry.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).
• Comfortable with hands‑on work to operate with equipment, tools, and machines.
• A curious and learning mindset – we provide on‑the‑job trainings and certifications.
• Self‑motivated to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Relevant aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering experience.
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office application and SAP.
