Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, invites you to join a 12-month Trainee Technician program designed to equip you with core skills for Aircraft Engine Technician roles. You will rotate through Engine Build & Strip, Inspection, or Repair Operations and progress toward Certifying Technician positions.
During on-the-job training, you will learn to disassemble, assemble, inspect, and repair engine modules, follow SOPs, document work, and actively contribute to EHS and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Trainee Technician program aims to equip you with the skills and knowledge to become an Aircraft Engine Technician. This trainee program spans 12 months and includes both structured and on-the-job training. Upon completion, trainees will be deployed as Aircraft Engine Technicians to perform Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) of engines.
Good performing trainees will be assigned to one of three core departments (Engine Build & Strip, Inspection, or Repair Operations) and may progress to become Certifying Technicians or explore other exciting career opportunities within Pratt & Whitney.
