Pratt & Whitney, a RTX business, invites applications for an aerospace inspection role focused on surface and structural examinations. You will apply FPI, MPI, and UT methods, interpret results, and document findings per procedures.

The job requires experience with engine manuals and engineering scopes, ensuring safe, compliant performance checks. Qualified candidates hold a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and NAS410/EN4179/PCN/ASNT/SNT-TC-1A certification; SAP and MS Office

Qualifications

• Diploma holders with aerospace inspection exposure or equivalent.
• Certification in NAS410/EN4179/PCN/ASNT/SNT-TC-1A is required or in-progress.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and SAP.

What You Will Do

• Able to apply Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), and or Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and or Ultrasonic Testing (UT), interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results in accordance with procedures.
• Familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods in which certified and as directed.
• Able to navigate the engine manuals and interpret it with the engineering work scopes.
• Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standard.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

What You Will Learn

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any other related discipline.
• Possess at least 400 hours of performing FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection)-Aerospace and at least 2 years of experience in dealing with aircraft structures, engines and/or components, or acceptable alternative training or experience.
• Possess certification of a current NAS410 / EN4179 / PCN / ASNT or SNT-TC-1A.
• Possess basic knowledge of product manufacturing, inspection technology and aircraft engine maintenance.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Possess good working knowledge of MS Office application (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and possess working knowledge of SAP.
• Good team player with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
