Job summary

TOSHIBA TEC SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an on-site service technician to install, configure, and maintain printers and copiers, driving customer satisfaction through proactive troubleshooting and inventory management.

You will manage stock, provide customer training, and report on equipment performance, with emphasis on uptime and efficient service delivery. The role requires the ability to work on-site, communicate clearly with customers, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience with stock handling and inventory control is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure printers and software on-site for optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
• Service printers and copiers on-site, including setup for installation.
• Repair and maintain copiers to extend equipment lifespan.
• Provide technical support and basic maintenance training to customers.
• Update inventory records and stock levels of toners and parts.
• Submit monthly usage readings to billing/ops on time.
• Prepare reports on equipment performance for management.
• Perform ad-hoc duties to support team goals.

Job Summary

You will deliver expert technical services by installing, configuring, and

maintaining printers and copier machines, driving operational efficiency and

customer satisfaction through proactive troubleshooting and inventory

management.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure printers and printing software to ensure optimal device performance and user experience
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime for customers
• Service printer and copier products onsite, including setup of new copier machines for installation
• Repair and maintain copier machines to extend equipment lifespan and reliability
• Provide technical support and training to customers on basic machine maintenance to empower user self-sufficiency
• Maintain accurate inventory records by ordering and updating stock levels of toners and spare parts
• Monitor and enhance stock handling procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce losses
• Submit monthly meter readings to the billing department accurately and on time
• Evaluate equipment performance using key metrics such as setup time and overhaul quantity to inform continuous improvement
• Prepare detailed reports for management to support decision-making and operational oversight
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior to support team and business objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Valid driving or motor license (advantageous for onsite service mobility)
• Experience in stock handling to support inventory accuracy and control
• Proficiency in MS Office and workshop equipment to facilitate reporting and technical tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
• Positive and patient attitude to maintain professionalism in customer service and problem resolution
