Job summary

NEWTECH TECHNOLOGY (SOUTH ASIA) PTE LTD is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and troubleshoot data centre systems, ensuring 24x7 operational health. You will provide technical support to customers and perform preventive maintenance according to the schedule.

The role requires 3+ years of maintenance experience, a Diploma/ITE in Engineering or equivalent, and a Class 3 driving license. On-site work in Singapore with standby duties and ad hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITE in Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical services.
• At least 3 years in carrying out maintenance work.
• Preferably with 1 to 2 years Data Centre experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot to resolve site issues independently or as a team.
• Class 3 Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for engineering design and sustaining, 24x7 operational health, maintenance and troubleshooting for all Facilities Systems.
• Provide technical/ facilities support to customers.
• Carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with the maintenance schedule and ensure the smooth functioning of all data center equipment.
• Monitor term contractors in carrying out regular servicing.
• Troubleshoot processes and carry out on-site support.
• Perform repair jobs on malfunctioning equipment, systems, and facilities.
• Adhere to ISO procedures and standards.
