ifm in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Electronics/Mechatronics Technician to support daily production and machine maintenance. You will set up, operate and troubleshoot production equipment according to procedures, while updating downtime and maintenance records.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in electronics device assembly, a NITEC/Diploma/Bachelor in related fields, and demonstrate high technical competence, teamwork, and flexibility for shift work plus overtime when needed.

Formación

• NITEC in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics or equivalent; diploma/bachelor preferred.
• At least 2 years’ experience in electronic devices production assembly.
• Strong technical, disciplined, and creative with integrity; good teamwork; able to work shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily failure analysis on production rejects.
• Set up and operate production machines per instructions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on machines.
• Update downtime reports and maintain maintenance records.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and tests.
• Monitor cycle time measurements and production yield.
• Ensure safety, 5S, and environmental initiatives.

Descripción del empleo

• Support on daily failure analysis on production rejects
• Setup, operate production machines and equipment according to instructions and processes
• Hands-on troubleshooting of production machine on mechanical and electrical problems
• Conduct first level troubleshooting of equipment performance and functionality issue
• Update machine downtime reports on maintenance and troubleshooting
• Carry out preventive maintenance, calibration and test procedure on machines & fixtures.
• Update equipment downtime reports on maintenance and troubleshooting
• Supervise process supervision and conduct verification test and measurements
• Support on ESD measurements
• Support on spare part management
• Conduct periodic measurements of product cycle time
• Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Actively initiate/participate in workplace safety, 5S and environmentally friendly activities and continuous improvement process.
• Support productivity improvement through periodic reviewing performance of product cycle time, machine and production yield performance.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics or equivalent. Diploma/Bachelor preferred.
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experiences in electronic devices production assembling environment
• High degree of technical competence and creativity and high level of discipline and integrity
• Good team player and able to work with people from different cultures
• Able to perform shift works and overtime (if necessary)
