Job summary

WeLead Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to trouble shoot and repair faulty production equipment, and to upgrade hardware and software controls. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, reducing scrap, and ensuring quality, with responsibilities spanning spare parts management and installation of new processes.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years in manufacturing, are able to work shifts including weekends/Public

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years of similar experience in the manufacturing industry
• Able to perform shift work
• Support manufacturing overtime during weekday, weekend, Sundays and Public Holiday with rotational days off
• Good team player

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot and repair faulty production equipment
• Improve and upgrading of Production equipment hardware and control (software)
• Identify and rectify issues for quality improvement / scrap reduction
• Update and manage equipment spare parts
• Installation and qualification of new processes and equipment
• Support new program or product model start-up
• Support Production Overtime in weekday, weekend, Sunday and Public Holiday
• Minimizing machine downtime, scrap raw materials / products
• Maintaining correct spare parts inventory and product quality
• Collaborate with production operators / supervisor and other support group
