Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Production/ Manufacturing Technician to oversee daily operation of production lines, monitor productivity, quality, yield and machine utilization. You will perform routine checks, maintenance and assist engineers.

You will be responsible for maintenance programs, spare parts tracking, safety, housekeeping and support continuous improvement projects. The role requires NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Eng, 12-hour rotating shifts, cleanroom attire.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Willing to work 12 hours rotating shift on 4 days work week.
• Willing to wear jumpsuit and work in clean room environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of production requirements such as line productivity, efficiency quality yield and machine utilization.
• Maintain process control and carry out routine check verification and repair work.
• Carry out periodic and preventive maintenance programs on both hardware and system software.
• Maintain records of maintenance programs including plant equipment such as air compressor vacuum pump transformer and etc.
• Assist Engineer in maintaining list of spare parts through timely reviewing to ensure minimum disruption to the production operation.
• Ensure production operation meets the company’s quality policy and objectives and comply with customer requirements.
• Assist Process Engineer in executing continuous improvement plan to attain cost reduction program for customer and to meet company’s goals.
• Assist Production Supervisor in initiating action to prevent occurrence of product non-conformity Assist and execute the implementation of product non-conformity solution.
• Raise safety awareness in assembly area
• Promote and cultivate good housekeeping behaviors in assembly area
• Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives
