Job summary

Ideals Recruitment Pte Ltd is hiring a CCTV and IT support technician to provide onsite and remote assistance for security systems in Woodlands, Singapore. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot IP cameras, NVR/DVR, and CCTV software to keep systems running smoothly.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, a Diploma/Degree in IT or related fields, solid IP networking knowledge, and willingness to travel between sites (Class 3 license helpful).

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related field required.
• 1–2 years of relevant CCTV/IT/networking experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP, LAN, IP addressing, PoE).

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for CCTV and security systems.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot IP cameras, NVR/DVR and CCTV software.
• Troubleshoot IP networking, LAN, PoE switches, routers, and connectivity issues.
• Diagnose camera offline, video loss, recording, and HDD/storage problems.
• Support installation and troubleshooting of Access Control systems and door controllers.
• Perform system testing, firmware upgrades, and commissioning.
• Conduct onsite fault diagnosis, equipment replacement, and system upgrades.
• Support servers, NAS, storage and backup systems.
• Prepare service reports and document findings and actions.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Attend planned maintenance and emergency service calls as required.

Salary Package: Basic up to $3800 [Experience Based]

Working Day: 5.5 work week | 9am-6pm

Responsibility:

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for CCTV and security surveillance systems.

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot IP cameras, NVR/DVR and CCTV management software.

• Troubleshoot IP networking, LAN, PoE switches, routers and network connectivity issues.

• Diagnose CCTV issues including camera offline, video loss, recording and HDD/storage problems.

• Support installation and troubleshooting of Access Control Systems, card readers and door controllers.

• Perform system testing, preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades and system commissioning.

• Conduct onsite fault diagnosis, equipment replacement, recabling and system upgrades.

• Support servers, NAS, storage and backup systems.

• Prepare service reports and document technical findings and corrective actions.

• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical issues.

• Attend planned maintenance and emergency service calls when required.

Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Security Systems or related fields.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in CCTV, security systems, IT support or networking preferred.

• Good knowledge of IP networking, TCP/IP, LAN, IP addressing and PoE.

• Familiar with IP cameras, NVR/DVR and CCTV/VMS systems.

• Comfortable travelling between sites: Class 3 is an advantage
