Job summary

Dr WiFi Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled CCTV and access control technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV and access control systems for enterprise clients in Singapore.

You will handle on-site testing, cabling, NVR/IP camera configuration, and preventive maintenance, with islandwide travel and a valid vehicle license required. Salary ranges from SGD 2,800 to SGD 4,300 per month, plus transport allowance and incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in CCTV and access control systems
• CCTV: install, test, and troubleshoot cameras, DVR/NVR, and IP camera systems
• Access control: card-based & biometric readers with time-attendance integration
• Structured cabling and termination (UTP/Cat6/Cat6A)
• Comfortable with testing, commissioning, and preventive/corrective maintenance (PPM/CM)
• ISMS integration with CCTV and alarm systems
• Willing to travel islandwide with own vehicle (Class 2B or Class 3/3A license)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: SGD 2,800 - SGD 4,300 per month (based on experience)

Working Hours: Monday - Saturday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Saturday inclusive of OT pay)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV and access control systems
• Support cabling, termination, and on-site testing
• Configure NVRs, IP cameras, door access systems, and related equipment
• Perform testing, commissioning, and preventive/corrective maintenance (PPM/CM)
• Perform fault diagnosis, maintenance, and rectification works
• Conduct site surveys and prepare service reports
• Provide professional on-site support to customers

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in CCTV and access control systems required
• CCTV: installation, testing, and troubleshooting of cameras, DVR/NVR, and IP camera systems
• Access control: card-based systems (RFID/proximity, MIFARE), biometric readers (fingerprint/facial) with time-attendance integration, and wiring/troubleshooting of controllers, readers, and electric locking hardware
• Structured cabling and termination (UTP/Cat6/Cat6A, trunking)
• Comfortable performing testing, commissioning, and preventive/corrective maintenance (PPM/CM)
• Understanding of how access control integrates with CCTV and alarm systems (ISMS)
• Comfortable working independently on-site and travelling islandwide for assignments
• Own vehicle with the corresponding valid driving licence must-have : Class 2B (motorcycle) or Class 3/3A (car)
• Excellent communication and good customer service skills

Preferred / Advantageous

• NITEC or ITE/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Experience with alarm / intrusion detection systems (IDS)
• Keypad/PIN-based entry systems
• Exposure to barriers, gantries, turnstiles, or intercom systems
• Awareness of fire-safety egress requirements when installing access-controlled doors
• Understanding of handling biometric/access data in line with PDPA requirements
• Working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, switches, VLAN, PoE for IP camera and system integration)
• Brand experience: Hikvision, Dahua, Tapo, or Cinmoore CCTV systems; any door access control brand
