Job summary

Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a capable technical support engineer to serve as the primary contact for customers after project deployment. The role involves remote and onsite troubleshooting, coordinating field engineers, and producing incident and maintenance reports.

You will collect logs, prepare quotations with sales and operations, and contribute to reliability improvements. A Diploma or higher in engineering and at least two years in technical support or field service are

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in engineering is required.
• At least two years in technical support, after-sales, field service or industrial automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer-management and organisational skills with willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Preferred knowledge of mobile robotics, PLCs, networking, Windows or Linux systems, and electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers following project deployment.
• Triage customer enquiries and troubleshoot hardware or software issues remotely and onsite.
• Coordinate field engineers for troubleshooting, commissioning and preventive maintenance.
• Collect logs, photographs and technical evidence before escalating complex issues.
• Manage support tickets, priorities and follow-up actions through timely closure.
• Prepare incident reports, maintenance reports, technical updates and meeting records.
• Prepare service and spare-parts quotations with sales, procurement and operations teams.
• Identify recurring issues and work with engineering teams on reliability improvements and project handovers.

Requirements

• Required: Diploma or higher qualification in an engineering discipline.
• Required: At least two years of experience in technical support, after-sales service, field service or industrial automation.
• Required: Strong troubleshooting, customer-management and organisational skills, with willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Preferred: Knowledge of mobile robotics, PLCs, networking, Windows or Linux systems, and electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.
