Job summary

Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a technically adept professional to act as the primary technical contact for customers after deployment. You will triage enquiries, troubleshoot issues remotely or onsite, and coordinate field engineers for servicing and maintenance across sites.

The role requires a diploma or higher in engineering, at least two years in technical support or field service, and strong communication, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in an engineering discipline.
• At least two years of experience in technical support, after-sales service, field service or industrial automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer-management and organisational skills, with willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Preferred: Knowledge of mobile robotics, PLCs, networking, Windows or Linux systems, and electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers following project deployment.
• Triage customer enquiries and troubleshoot hardware or software issues remotely and onsite.
• Coordinate field engineers for troubleshooting, commissioning and preventive maintenance.
• Collect logs, photographs and technical evidence before escalating complex issues.
• Manage support tickets, priorities and follow-up actions through timely closure.
• Prepare incident reports, maintenance reports, technical updates and meeting records.
• Prepare service and spare-parts quotations with sales, procurement and operations teams.
• Identify recurring issues and work with engineering teams on reliability improvements and project handovers.
