Job summary

Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a capable technical support engineer to serve as the primary contact for customers after project deployment. The role involves remote and onsite troubleshooting, coordinating field engineers, and producing incident and maintenance reports.

Qualifications

Diploma or higher in engineering is required.
At least two years in technical support, after-sales, field service or industrial automation.
Strong troubleshooting, customer-management and organisational skills with willingness to travel to customer sites.
Preferred knowledge of mobile robotics, PLCs, networking, Windows or Linux systems, and electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical contact for customers after project deployment.
Troubleshoot hardware or software issues remotely and onsite.
Coordinate field engineers for troubleshooting, commissioning and preventive maintenance.
Collect logs, photographs and technical evidence before escalation.
Manage support tickets, priorities and follow-up actions through closure.
Prepare incident and maintenance reports and technical updates.
