Job summary

UNITED PERSONNEL SERVICES in Singapore (Jurong) seeks an HVAC Applications Engineer to support equipment selection and system design based on project requirements and loads. You will prepare technical proposals, sizing calculations, submittals and tender documentation, and provide technical support to consultants, contractors and sales teams on HVAC applications and energy efficiency.

Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC, 2 years of relevant experience, knowledge of

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC or related discipline.
• 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC application engineering or technical sales support.
• Knowledge of chillers, AHUs, VRF systems or related HVAC equipment preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC equipment selection and system design based on project requirements and cooling/heating loads.
• Prepare technical proposals, equipment sizing calculations, submittals and tender documentation.
• Provide technical support to consultants, contractors and sales teams on HVAC applications and energy efficiency.
• Assist with equipment commissioning, startup, troubleshooting and technical defect investigations.
• Conduct product training for contractors and installers on equipment installation, wiring and controls.
• Recommend suitable system upgrades, controls and energy-saving solutions to meet customer needs.
• Liaise with internal engineering and product teams on technical issues, product performance and compliance requirements.
