Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a technically minded engineer to join our sales engineering team. You will translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions and collaborate with sales to deliver value.

The role involves pre- and post-sales support, product demonstrations, and managing projects from concept to completion, with opportunities to work with international principals and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in technical sales, application engineering, technical support or project engineering preferred.
• Hands-on experience with steam-related product systems is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.
• Confident in giving technical presentations to customers and suppliers.
• Proactive, commercially minded and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales and customers to understand requirements and recommend suitable products and engineering solutions.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, troubleshooting and engineering recommendations.
• Engage with customers' engineering and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and identify improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and customer training.
• Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Collaborate with international principals, suppliers and internal technical teams to develop solutions and resolve technical issues.
• Research industry trends and identify new products, technologies and business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and principals.
