Job summary

BYT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Singapore.

You will develop business opportunities, understand customer requirements, prepare technical proposals, and provide professional support throughout the sales process. The role requires a engineering degree, 1–3 years in technical sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in engineering or related disciplines.
1–3 years of experience in technical sales, engineering sales, or related fields.
Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and communication skills are encouraged to apply.
Good understanding of industrial, electrical, mechanical, automation, or engineering-related products and services.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Possession of a valid driving licence will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Understand customer technical requirements and provide suitable solutions.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
Coordinate with suppliers, engineers, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
Follow up on enquiries, negotiations, and project progress.
Provide after-sales support and technical assistance when required.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
