Job summary

TEMP-TEAM PTE LTD is hiring a Technical Sales Engineer in Singapore. You will understand customers' technical needs and recommend suitable industrial equipment and process solutions.

Prepare technical proposals, quotations and presentations while collaborating with internal teams to deliver customised solutions meeting customer requirements. Responsibilities include designing processes, providing application support, and liaising with factories and overseas teams to obtain technical information

Salary: $3,000 - $4,300
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location: North Region, Singapore

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our sales team. In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and recommend suitable industrial equipment and process solutions. You will prepare technical proposals, quotations and presentations while collaborating with internal teams to deliver customised solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customers' technical requirements and recommend suitable equipment and process solutions.
• Review technical enquiries and interpret customer specifications.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and costing based on customer requirements.
• Conduct technical presentations and participate in technical clarification meetings with customers.
• Provide process design and application support, including process flow diagrams and process layouts.
• Liaise with factories and overseas counterparts for technical information and quotations.
• Work closely with the drafting and engineering teams to develop customised solutions.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers throughout the sales process.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Entry level with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Experience in engineering sales or powder processing systems and equipment will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to travel occasionally for customer meetings or project discussions.
