Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to drive pre-sales and after-sales technical support for automation projects. You will present solutions and demonstrations to customers, help identify opportunities, and support deal closure with pricing and proposals.

Join a regional team, collaborate with engineering and sales, and travel to customer sites as needed to ensure successful deployments and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/robotics.
• 2-4 years of sales/business development experience in robotics, automation, or industrial solutions.
• Strong understanding of robotic applications (e.g., mobile robots, robotic arms, automation integration).
• Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills to tailor engineering solutions.
• Customer-centric mindset with focus on long-term partnerships and market trends.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Willingness to travel overseas as needed.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support

• Providing pre-sales & after-sales technical support/expertise to assist sales effort.
• Deliver in-depth presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
• On site technical repair / maintenance for robotic or automation project deployment.

Sales & Business Development

• Support for business development activities by build networks, to identify business opportunities in Singapore and ASEAN region.
• Support Sales Manager to develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.
• Conducts due diligence and make proposals for prospective business partners and solutions.
• Conduct market research and need analysis (example 3C) to have a better grasp on market and for decision-making purpose and recommend suitable solutions.
• Assist in managing the entire sales cycle, including proposal preparation, pricing, negotiation, and contract finalization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics.
• 2-4 years of sales/business development experience in robotics, automation, or industrial solutions.
• Strong understanding of robotic applications (e.g., mobile robots, robotic arms, automation integration).
