Job summary

Well Established Company is seeking a Sales/BD Associate in Singapore to identify and convert potential customers into opportunities. You will follow up marketing leads, handle inquiries, and prepare quotations. Expect to gather budget, need, decision-maker information, and timelines to build solid business cases.

Training is provided for those with limited experience. You will work from the North location, with Monday to Friday hours, 9am to 6pm, and a base salary of SGD 4,000–4,500 plus a

Responsibilities

• Prospects for potential new customers with the goal of turning them into sales opportunities.
• Follows up active leads generated by marketing activities.
• Creates new opportunities by answering telephone and email inquiries and entering accurate data into CRM.
• Obtains information to build a business case for new opportunities (budget, need, authority, timeline).
• Responds to customer objections effectively.
• Gathers initial application information including process details and system configuration.
• Provides internal sales support including product questions, pricing, and lead times.
• Creates quotations via the company quote module for individual opportunities and field-generated opportunities.
• Develops accounts by analyzing buying history and suggesting related items; promotes cross/up-sell.
• Retains and expands current customer base through cross/up-sell opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Prospects for potential new customers with the specific goal of turning them into sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts independently or based on specific targets generated by company's Business Development team.
• Follows up active leads generated by marketing activities.
• Creates new opportunities by answering telephone and email inquiries. All new inquiries should include verifying and entering accurate account and contact information into company's CRM.
• Obtains initial information needed to make a business case for a new opportunity including, but not limited to: the customer budget, customer need, decision making authority and timeline. Information required is in conjunction with company's internal sales process.
• Effectively understand and respond to customer objections.
• Obtains initial application information including, but not limited to process details and general system configuration.
• Provides internal sales support including, but not not: to answering specific product related questions, providing initial pricing on standard products and lead time information.
• Creates quotations through company's dedicated quote module or alternative specified method both for individually generated opportunities, as well as, opportunities generated by a Field Sales Engineers, as needed.
• Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history, suggesting related and new items and explaining technical features.
• Retain current customer base and expand footprint through cross/up sell opportunities.

Job Requirements

• Possess minimum Bachelor of Science / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Possess 1-2 years of related experience is an advantage.
• Training will be provided for those lesser/without experience.
