Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking a Technical Purchaser for Semiconductor & Automation Equipment in Admiralty, Singapore. The role covers sourcing components, coordinating with design teams, and ensuring timely delivery for prototype builds.

You will support BOMs, review specifications, and build a reliable supplier network while balancing cost, lead times and project timelines. 5-day work week, 9am-6:00pm, with a competitive salary of SGD 4,500–6,000 per month depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, supply chain, procurement or related discipline.
• 3–7 years of purchasing or technical sourcing experience in semiconductor equipment or similar engineering environment.
• Experience supporting R&D, new product introduction or prototype builds preferred.
• Able to work with engineering BOMs, part specifications and drawing revisions, and clarify technical requirements with designers.
• Familiarity with precision machined parts and standard components such as motors, drives, bearings, linear guides, ball screws, sensors and pneumatics.
• Experience managing multiple changing priorities using Excel and purchasing/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Support design and prototype development, identify purchasing requirements and long lead-time components.
• Resolve sourcing situations, identify alternatives and obtain engineering approvals for substitutions.
• Own supplier follow-up and delivery, negotiate terms and issue POs promptly.
• Maintain purchasing visibility with trackers and coordinate with receiving, quality and engineering teams.
