The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Technical Purchaser / Senior Buyer for R&D and semiconductor equipment in Singapore.

The role involves supporting design and prototype development, sourcing critical components, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries. Working in a 5-day week from Admiralty with 9:00am–6:00pm hours, you will collaborate with engineers to review BOMs, source alternatives, and manage orders from quotation to delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, supply chain, procurement or related discipline.
• 3–7 years of purchasing or technical sourcing in semiconductor equipment, automation, precision machinery or similar engineering environment.
• Experience supporting R&D, new product introduction or first prototype builds is strongly preferred.
• Able to work with engineering BOMs, part specifications and drawing revisions, and clarify technical requirements with designers.
• Familiarity with precision machined parts and standard equipment components such as motors, drives, bearings, linear guides, ball screws, sensors and pneumatic components.
• Managing multiple changing priorities using Excel and purchasing/ERP systems.

Responsabilités

• Support design and prototype development from early design stage to identify purchasing requirements, sourcing risks and long lead-time components.
• Resolve difficult sourcing situations by identifying alternatives and expediting delivery when needed.
• Own supplier follow-up and delivery by obtaining quotations, negotiating terms and issuing POs promptly.
• Maintain purchasing visibility with trackers covering part numbers, supplier, PO status, delivery dates and risks.
