Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. seeks a Technical Purchaser / Senior Buyer to support R&D and semiconductor equipment projects in Singapore. You will work with design and engineering teams to source parts, review BOMs and manage supplier relationships to keep projects on track.

The role emphasizes proactive sourcing, handling lead times, and ensuring on-time delivery for prototypes and builds, with a focus on precision components and ERP-based purchasing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, supply chain, procurement or a related discipline; relevant practical experience will also be considered.
• Preferably 3–7 years of purchasing or technical sourcing experience in semiconductor equipment, automation, precision machinery or a similar engineering environment.
• Experience supporting R&D, new product introduction or first prototype builds is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support design and prototype development by identifying purchasing requirements and sourcing risks.
• Review BOMs with engineers and track items awaiting specifications or purchase approval.
• Coordinate purchasing priorities with module owners to ensure parts arrive in sequence for builds.
• Respond to design changes and manage impact on orders, delivery dates and costs.
