Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is recruiting a Technical Purchaser / Senior Buyer for its R&D and semiconductor equipment division in Admiralty, Singapore.

The role focuses on supporting design and prototype development by securing critical components, reviewing BOMs, and coordinating with engineers to ensure timely delivery. You will manage supplier quotes, negotiate terms, and maintain a clear purchase tracker while mitigating lead times and risks across all projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, supply chain, procurement or related field.
• 3–7 years in purchasing or technical sourcing in semiconductor equipment or similar.
• Experience supporting R&D, new product introduction or prototype builds.
• Familiar with engineering BOMs, specs and drawings.
• Proficient with Excel and ERP systems for supplier tracking.

Responsibilities

• Support design and prototype development by sourcing requirements and reviewing BOMs.
• Source mechanical, electrical, motion control and other components with alternatives.
• Own supplier follow-up and delivery, issue POs and secure delivery dates.
• Maintain purchasing visibility with accurate trackers and risk updates.
