Job summary

GOLDTECH RESOURCES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Technical Officer to support daily operation and maintenance of building facilities and electrical systems.

You will work with the Engineer to plan preventive and corrective maintenance, supervise technicians and contractors, and ensure safety and on-schedule delivery.

This role requires a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years FM experience, and a strong focus on safety, reporting, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of Facilities Management experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and fault investigation.
• Able to supervise technicians and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) accreditation will be an advantage.
• Good technical reporting and documentation skills.
• Strong safety awareness and good WSH practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, hardworking and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineer in planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Supervise maintenance, repair and variation works carried out on site.
• Monitor major maintenance activities and provide regular progress updates.
• Troubleshoot equipment and system breakdowns and identify the root cause of faults.
• Attend to and oversee electrical maintenance works.
• Lead and coordinate technicians in day-to-day facilities operations and maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical reports covering breakdowns, findings and recommended solutions.
• Monitor ad-hoc facilities projects and ensure works are completed according to schedule.
• Maintain proper maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with site safety and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Perform other facilities-related duties when required.
