Job summary

ENGIE Southeast Asia is seeking a Facilities Management Technician Lead to head a team of Technicians for all FM activities at the site. The role involves supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, routine inspections, and coordinating contractors to ensure work meets specifications and safety requirements.

Ideal candidates will have a Diploma in Engineering or relevant FM discipline with related experience, strong problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or relevant FM discipline with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Higher NITEC with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with building works e.g. plumbing, water proofing.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, resourceful and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Technicians for Facilities Management activities.
• Carry out and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance works for building trade.
• Conduct routine inspections of building and identify defects.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors for repair and maintenance works.
• Ensure works are completed according to specifications and safety requirements.
• Verify job completion and ensure proper documentation of maintenance records.
• Assist in A&A, upgrading, and improvement works.
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely closure of work orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building standards.
• Any other duties as and when assigned.

Education

Diploma in Engineering or relevant FM discipline

Higher NITEC with at least 3 years of relevant experience
