Job summary

search personnel private limited is seeking a Technical Manager (Security Systems / ELV) to oversee security-system service and maintenance at the Outram office and client sites.

The role requires leading a technical team, planning schedules, and ensuring service quality across CCTV, access control, and integrated systems. Night/weekend support may be required; permanent position with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Technical Officers supporting security-system service and maintenance operations.
• Plan manpower, service schedules and resources to meet customer commitments.
• Manage daily maintenance, fault-response and troubleshooting activities.
• Liaise with customer representatives regarding technical and maintenance matters.
• Monitor service progress, response requirements and completion timelines.
• Troubleshoot CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and integrated security systems.
• Support system configuration, programming and third-party integration where required.
• Manage customer expectations and resolve escalated technical issues.
• Maintain service quality, technical documentation and operational standards.

Job description

• Position: Technical Manager (Security Systems / ELV)


• Location: Outram office and client sites


• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm. Night and weekend work may be required depending on operational requirements.


• Salary: Up to $6,500 Basic + Transport Support + AWS + Performance Bonus


• Transport Support: Up to $750 for car or $400 for motorcycle, subject to company policy

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Technical Officers supporting security-system service and maintenance operations.


• Plan manpower, service schedules and resources to meet customer commitments.


• Manage daily maintenance, fault-response and troubleshooting activities.


• Liaise with customer representatives regarding technical and maintenance matters.


• Monitor service progress, response requirements and completion timelines.


• Troubleshoot CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and integrated security systems.


• Support system configuration, programming and third-party integration where required.

Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.


• At least five years of relevant hands‑on experience in physical security systems.


• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.


• Hands‑on experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion detection or integrated security-management systems.


• Strong fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.


• Experience managing customer service or maintenance operations.


• Knowledge of system configuration, application programming or third‑party integration is advantageous.


• Able to support night or weekend technical activities when required.
